Hey - sorry I somehow deleted the first one by accident.
My favourite inventions so far that I don't know of anyone else doing, for agility equipment.
1. Shrink Tube Coloring (instead of tape)
Can get it on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/Electriduct-Heat-Shrink-Tubing-Shrinkable/dp/B0030W1TAA) or direct which has a few more colour options https://www.electriduct.com/2-to-1-Heat-Shrink-Tubing.html we used this 2 to 1 and it comes in up to 2.5" in colours, so plenty big enough for even larger jump uprights. We used 2" for the bars since they are smaller.
No more tatty tape, no more heat making it peal as the adhesive dies, and you don't even have to prep it that hard. Remove whatever is loose, but don't worry about doing a clean peal or getting sticky off, having some on it actually helps. No we did not use sticky shrink tube, just regular.
2. Tunnel Cart that actually drives over all terrain
Cost to build: $130
Holds: up to 80 ft of tunnel PLUS some sandbags (or jump poles)
or sub a similar 1000-lb rated with beefy all terrain wheels that is 24x48" (or slightly larger).
Center is plastic barrel drums, two. These are used in industry a lot for holding & shipping food, medicines, and such, and are very expensive new BUT you can find them used (ours were $25 each) as people buy them and wash them. Very high quality plastic and doesn't degrade (can't, 'cause of what they are used for) and super sturdy so not like PVC that gets brittle and breaks. Just take a tunnel with you to the used sale lot near you and find one that fits. Drill through the bottom, use heavy duty plastic zip ties or bolt them down onto the cart, 25-26" center to center (slightly off center for cart as whole, but you want a bit extra space between the drums as that is where the tunnels 'meet' in the stack).
